The Designer:

Pietro Arosio was born in Lissone in the province of Milan on March 20, 1946.

After graduating from the Monza Institute of Applied Art, he trained professionally in the research center of the AF & F company, which specializes in the production of metal furniture for collective spaces.

This work experience helped Pietro Arosio to clarify and define for himself a possible design philosophy to be pursued over time as an industrial designer.

In 1972 he began his independent activity, effective in those years was the work carried out in the design of kitchens started in 1978, and recognized through the first Casaviva d’Oro prize in 1983.

The essentiality in the shape of the object, the constant search for new materials and applicable technologies, the meticulous definition of every detail already in the design phase with the engineering department of the manufacturing companies, are fundamental elements in the work of Pietro Arosio, who in any case does not underestimating the emotional aspect of the product
